ISLAMABAD: Rainfall spell persists across the country including twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad while upper parts of the country and mountainous areas are in the grip of snow fall.

According to Met Office westerly winds have entered into the country and they will persist in upper parts of the country.

Rainfall will continue in the areas of Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat division, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad division, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

Bannu, DI Khan, Multan, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, DG Khan division and Mir Pur Khas division are witnessing intermittent rain.
Swat, Chitral, Kalam,Malam Jabba, Upper Dir, Hazara Division, Murree, Galiat, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir are likely to receive more snow fall.

Owing to heavy down pour land sliding is likely to occur in Malakand, Hazara division, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

Snow fall continued in Fort Manra overnight in Dera Ghazi Khan. This is being described the biggest snowfall ever received in the country.

According to political administration, Fort Manro received 7 inch snow fall.
