RAWALPINDI: Excise and Taxation Department Punjab has decided to extend the property tax net to all private housing societies throughout Punjab including Rawalpindi.
According to media reports this decision was taken in the conference of Directors Excise and taxation department.
Secretary Excise and Taxation department Punjab directed all directors to bring all the housing societies into tax net.
Sources said that it was urged during the conference that tax net be extended rather than enhancing tax rate.
