RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has decided to increase building plan fee by 60 percent in respect of domestic and commercial buildings located in the areas falling under its jurisdiction.
According to media reports building control department has included its recommendations in agenda items and sent to authority for convening a meeting for consideration.
The recent proposed hike in building plan fees is being described less than the fees fixed by TMA.
Under newly proposed rates, residential building plan fee is being increased from Rs 3 to Rs 5 square foot and commercial building plan fee from Rs 7 to Rs 10 per square foot.
If the proposal is approved in the authority meeting then its approval will be obtained from DPDC.
