Islamabad : The Capital Development Authority (CDA) while declaring over 15 housing societies, including Ministry of Interior Employees Cooperative Housing Society (MIECHS) defaulter and directed them to pay Rs1.5 billion immediately.
Over 15 housing societies, including Interior Employees Cooperative Housing Society (MIECHS), Gulberg Town and Jinnah Town, have been directed to submit the aforementioned amount.
The CDA management has warned the managements of these societies that their cases will be referred to NAB in case they failed to submit the said amount. The management has issued notices to the housing societies located in Zone-II and Zone-V.The CDA management has issued notice of over Rs90 million to the management of MIECHS for selling plots without NOC and layout plan. Gulberg Town has been issued notice worth over Rs180 million while Jinnah Town has been issued notice worth over Rs90 million.
Cabinet Division Housing Society received notice of Rs over Rs180 million, Engineering Housing society over Rs70 million, Khyaban-e- Kashmir Phase-I over Rs260, Margalla View received more than Rs90 million, Multi-Garden Zone over Rs330 million and TeliGarden received notice of more than Rs10 million.
The CDA sources said these housing societies have been violating the CDA rules and regulations and they have been issued notices earlier as well.
