RAWALPINDI: Wanton increase in fare by public transport owners plying on route from College Road Rawalpindi to Kallar Syedan has sparked outrage and dismay among the commuters.
According to media reports the owners and drivers of public transport have started overcharging the commuters on the route from college road Rawalpindi to Kallar Syedan.
“ They are not drivers but they are pockets grabbers. They pounce on the pockets like grabber making mockery of the government fare list and some time start manhandling the citizens if some one tries to stop them from roguish tactics of overcharging them, said a group of commuters.
They don’t pick any commuter on the way to their route but whosoever pays full fare upto Kallar Syedan he is allowed to travel.
The citizens have demanded of the government to take immediate measures for protecting them against the highhandedness of the owners and drivers of the wagons plying on the route from college road Rawalpindi to Kallar Syedan.
