Rawalpindi: Punjab Government has decided to grant promotions to clerks working in government departments across province including district Rawalpindi.
Summary has been sent to Chief Minister Punjab for approval.
Under this, more than 5,000 clerks in district Rawalpindi while overall more than 2, 00,000 clerks across the province will benefit from this.
A delegation of APCA met with additional chief secretary Punjab who IS also chairman of up-gradation Company.
Provincial President of APCA Zafar Ali, Tahir Shah, Chaudhry Safdar, Mukhtar Gujjar, Munawwar Iqbal, and Khalid Javed attended the meeting.
Delegation demanded promotions of clerks including computer operators, Drafts men, Tracer, accounts clerks, store keepers, cashier, care takers, statistical assistant, assistant warden fisheries fisheries assistant, wild life supervisors, economic assistant, Cast Assistants, legal assistant research assistance, assistant superintendent local government, store assistant, store officer, data entry operator, data programmer and programmer Grade -wise on the manner of federation.
Upon it office bearers of APCA were assured that notification of clerks promotion will be issued this month.
