Islamabad: Ban has been imposed on advertisement of illegal housing societies, Fire work, wall chalking, use of loudspeaker, public gathering and religious gathering in Federal Capital under section 144 by district administration Islamabad.
As per media reports, under the Section144 the ban has been slapped on advertisement of illegal housing societies, their publicity in newspapers, selling plots and collecting membership fees, use of sound systems, fireworks and buying & selling of material, displaying banners fomenting sectarianism, wall chalking, distribution of pamphlets, meetings, public gatherings, conventions and religious gathering including amplifier and use of load speaker while ban has also imposed on mountains digging.
The Section144 will remain in force for 2 months.
According to the notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner , housing societies extort huge amount from citizens through fraud and illegal advertisements ,therefore, ban has been imposed on any sort of advertisement of housing societies while ban has also been imposed on buying & selling plots.
It is stated in the notification that ban has been imposed on CDs, DVDs and sound systems which are used in sectarianism and fireworks in Islamabad, buying & selling of fireworks material has also been banned.
There will be ban on displaying banners related to sectarianism, wall chalking and distribution of pamphlets too.
There will be ban on Use of Loudspeakers in Islamabad, delivering speeches related to sectarianism and using amplifier too.
Each type of public gathering, meetings, conventions and religious gathering has also been banned in Islamabad.
All restrictions will remain in place for 2 months and strict action will be taken against the violators of these restrictions.
