Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) Minister for Information, Tourism and Information Technology Raja Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas has said that report presented in British Parliament on Kashmir reflected the massive human rights violations committed by Indian army in occupied Kashmir.
In an interview, AJ&K minister said , ” this report shows the clear evidence of Indian Army involvement in atrocities in occupied Kashmir and Indian government is dirtectly responsible for atrocities in the occupied state.”
He said draconian laws imposed by the Indian government must be repealed in occupied Kashmir particularly the armed forces special power act.
He called upon the Indian government to implement the recommendations presented by a committee consist of the British members Parliament on present situation prevailing in occupied Kashmir.He urged the British government to put pressure on Indian government for implementation of the recommendations of said report.
He said that the Kashmiri youth were offering priceless sacrifices in occupied Kashmir for a greate cause. He said it is high time that the people of Kashmir stay steadfast and display greater unity among their ranks for their legitimate birth right, the right to self-determination. He said history is witness that no military might has succeeded in puzzling the genuine struggles let alone weakening the people’s aspirations and commitment towards their goal.
