Charsadda: A man gunned down his wife, sister-in-law, nephew, and cousin over domestic dispute during Jirga in Charsadda.
According to media reports, suspect identified as Arshad Jamal opened fire on his wife, sister-in-law, nephew and cousin during Jirga when decision came against him within the jurisdiction of Umar Zai police and fled.
Cousin of the suspect was a reporter of private news channel and was general Secretary of Charsadda Press Club.
Police reached the scene and shifted the dead into nearby local hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Meanwhile, 4 persons including mother and a son were shot injured and later stabbed to death by a rival group over property dispute in Chorta 30 D native village of Okara and fled.
Victims were identified as Samina Bibi, Maryam Bibi, and Fatima.
Police reached the scene and shifted the bodies into nearby civil hospital for autopsy.
Police handed over the bodies to family members later.
Police have registered separate cases and started an investigation.
