Muzaffarabad: Chairman United Jihad Council (UJC) Syed Salah ud din has said that Government of Pakistan should support indigenous armed struggle in Indian occupied Kashmir which is moved to young and educated youngsters instead of persuasion for dialogues.
He expressed his views while addressing a press conference here on Saturday; speaking on the occasion, Syed Salah ud din stressed that integrated and organized armed struggle is the only way out for liberation.
Vice Chairman UJC Commander Muhammad Usman, Secretary General Sheikh Jameel ur Rehman, Ameer Jamiat ul Mujahideen General Abdullah, Commander Jaish e Muhammad Mufti Muhammad Asghar, Ameer Albarq Mujahideen Muhammad Farooq Qureshi, Ameer Hizb e Islami Masood Sarfraz, Ameer Al-Jihad Jammu and Kashmir Chaudhary Muhammad Kamran, Ameer Kashmir Liberation movement Almas Rizwan, Ameer Al Baddar Mujahideen Bakht Zameen Khan, Ameer Tehreek e Jihad Jammu and Kashmir Muhammad Waseem Baig, Ameer Harkat e Jihad e Islami Jan Muhammad, Ameer Harkat ul Mujahideen, Ameer Lashkar e Tayyaba Jammu and Kashmir including many other armed organizations leaders were also present on the occasion.
While addressing the press conference, Chairman UJC lamented on the role of United Nations, saying that the UN including Security Council and other human rights organizations have dual policies on Kashmir issue, “still UN is unable to fullfil its promise of right to self-determination to the people of Kashmir” he stated.
Syed urged that all political parties in India should support Kashmiri nation for their just freedom movement as people of Jammu and Kashmir have rejected the Indian rule, “this determined movement will continue until freedom” he reiterated.
“27th October is the black day in the history of Kashmir, when India armed forces occupied Jammu and Kashmir and started massacre of innocent civilians; United Nation is still unable to implement its own resolution passed for seven decades ago, we are despondent on the silence of UN, OIC, Security Council and other human rights organizations and their muteness is jeopardizing the peaceful situation in South Asia” Syed Salah ud Din maintained.
He also expressed his concerns over the role of diplomatic missions of Pakistan in foreign countries, saying that children in Jammu and Kashmir are being blinded by pellet guns, youngsters are targeted, towns and markets are being burned; draconian laws AFASPA, POTA and TADA have given license to kill innocent civilians besides arrests and being tortured, “The whole state has been converted into a prison, What is the role of Pakistani diplomatic missions in abroad?” Syed asked.
He said that the most beautiful region of this world is severely ruined by Indian armed forces where innocent people including children and women are killed and raped.
India is continuously violating human rights in occupied Kashmir and the only way out for liberation from Indian occupation is armed struggle which consists of many educated youngsters like Dr. Muhammad Rafi Butt, Dr. Abdul Ahad Gunai, Dr. Mannan Wani, Dr. Sabzar Ahmed Sufi, “they were not un-educated but Ph.D scholars who have been compelled to join this armed struggle due to Indian atrocities” he stated.
Chairman UJC opposed the dialogue endeavors for peace by Government of Pakistan, “Earlier more than one hundred and fifty bilateral talks resulted zero progress towards the solution of Kashmir issue” he said.
Syed demanded the Government of Pakistan that Pakistan should support the ongoing armed movement besides moral, diplomatic and political support, “it is the responsibility of Pakistan as a part of its constitutional and legal status” he stressed.
People of Azad Jammu and Kashmir observed 27th October as Black day, protest procession were held against Indian illegal occupation in Jammu and Kashmir and people demanded UN to implement its resolution on Kashmir.
