Rawalpindi: In the lights of high court’s verdict a special unit has been established for elimination of encroachments in cantt areas.
According to the Spokesperson of Cantonment Board, Cantonment Executive Officer has established a special unit for removal of encroachments.
The aim of this special unit is to identify temporary and permanent encroachments and to destroy these encroachments immediately while the notices have been issued to the encroachers of temporary and permanent encroachments in different areas of Cantt. Saddar, Ahata Mitho Khan, Chungi no. 22, Westridge, Allahabad, Naseeraabad and other areas of Cantt.
Following expiry of deadline given on the notices strict action will be taken against encroachers.
