Islamabad: Hundreds and thousands of girl students of Home Economics College F-7/2 have been deprived of their degrees due to inefficiency of Quaid e Azam university administration.
According to media reports students who had completed their BS (Hons) program from 2012 have not been provided degrees till yet.
College administration alleged Quaid e Azam University administration for inordinate delay in issuance of degrees while university administration has held college administration responsible for not issuing degrees.
Almost three badges from 2012 till yet have completed their degree programs but they are still waiting for their degrees.
Girl students said that college administration had already received convocation fee from them eight months before but whenever they demand of their degrees, administration give them pseudo solace.
Students said that they have applied for admissions in and outside country but due to lack of degrees they could not take admissions.
On the other hand, college administration said that the problem of degrees is due to Quaid e Azam University matters.
University’s own staff is short therefore it is facing difficulty in issuing degrees to its own graduates.
Quaid e Azam University controller examination Sardar Babar said that Home Economics College was affiliated with Punjab University and all the job done by it was wrong.
He said we will take forward the matter of degrees when college administration provides all its record.
