As per media reports, since years important posts are lying vacant in Capital Development Authority (CDA), affecting the working of the institution adversely.
9 posts of Grade20, 22 of Grade19, 69 of Grade18 while 267 posts of Grade17 are vacant and officers of Grade18 are appointed against Grade19 posts of dozens department while officers who are posted on deputation are reaping the benefit of the prevailing situation. .
Grade18 officers are working on Grade19 posts in Engineering department, State land, Enforcement, Human Reserves, Municipal Administration, Emergency, Sanitation, Environment, Revenue, Audit, Accounts, Secretariat, Aiwan-e-Sadr, Water supply, Water distribution, Khanpur Dam, Simly Dam, Services, Works, Street lights, Water and sewages, Bulk water management, Secretary board, Co-ordination and 20 more departments including Parliament house.
Due to the vacant post the inquiry of the cases pertaining to government vehicles, petrol, plots and residential place are pending and problems facing the common man stand compounded.
