Karachi: A man has been killed in the name of honor in Gulshan-i-Iqbal area of Karachi, said Police.
According to the police, the victim, Irshad a resident of Para Chinar was shot dead inside his car.
Police have shifted the body to a nearby local hospital for medico-legal formalities.
According to postmortem report, the victim was shot five times.
According to the Police the victim reportedly had ‘illicit’ relations with a woman in Para Chinar who has already been killed a few months back. After the killing of the woman, Irshad had fled to Karachi.
Victim’s brother while recording his statement to police confirmed that Irshad was killed by some people of his clan upon ‘Panchayat’ decision.
Father and relatives of the slain female has been nominated in the case.
