Rawalpindi: 4006 posts of teachers are lying vacant in Rawalpindi division.
As per media reports, in all four districts of Rawalpindi division Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Jhelum and Attock almost 4006 posts of teachers are vacant. The district education officers of all four districts have sent data of vacant posts to Ministry of Education for new recruitment and NTS test for these vacant posts will be conducted in November.
Total 492 seats (381 male & 111 female) for teachers in Rawalpindi district, 1528 seats (985 male & 543 female) in Attock district, 970 seats (535 male & 435 female) in Chakwal district and 905 seats (462 male & 443 female) in Jhelum district are vacant to be filled in.
According to the Policy, 5 marks each for Matric and Intermediate degree, 10 for Graduation, 20 for Masters, 10 for B.Ed, 5 each for M.Phil and PHD, 40 for NTS while 5 marks for interview will be given to candidates.
The applications for vacant posts will be collected from October.
