Rawalpindi: The orders for sacking 500 teachers in Punjab including Rawalpindi have been cancelled after Federal Government has taken a serious notice of termination of employees from service in different departments.
According to media reports Education Secretary had issued orders to immediately terminate the services of male and female teachers recruited in 2012. Their appointments were linked to acquisition of B.Ed degrees within a time span of 3 years but they could not do B.Ed in five years while all the teachers holding B.Ed and M.Ed degrees were regularized.
