Gujranwala: In village Khyali political rivals shot dead General Councilor Afzal Mehr and injured seven persons outside his house.
According to SP City Behram Khan the accused managed to flee from the scene. The injured have been shifted to DHQ hospital.
Behram Khan said that the two parties have skirmish during the election. Three persons have been arrested for firing and raids are being conducted to arrest the others.
SP City further said that evidences have been collected from the scene.
