Islamabad : Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) would support Baluchistan Awami Party (BAP) in formation of government in Baluchistan where BAP’s Jam Kamal would be Chief Minister.
On Tuesday, a delegation of Baluchistan Awami Party called on PTI’s Chairman Imran Khan at Banni Gala in which the plan for alliance between Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf(PTI) and Baluchistan Awami Party (BAP) was finalized.
After the meeting senior leader of PTI Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Quershi told the media that both PTI and BAP would form an alliance on federal and provincial level.
“PTI wants to see progress and prosperity in Baluchistan and we are united against these elements who desire for political instability there in the province. PTI would full support BAP for bringing prosperity in Baluchistan “, he added.
On the occasion Jahangir Tareen said that Baluchistan Awami Party has got a majority in Baluchistan and it has full right for Chief Minister . It has nominated Jam Kamal for the slot of CM while he would be joint candidate of PTI as well as BAP.
Replying a question Tareen said that he met with the leadership of MQM and it is hoped that it would cooperate PTI.
Jam Kamal said that they are taking a good message. He said that new government of Baluchistan would trace out the political solutions of the challenges being faced by the country’s largest area wise province.
He told the media that Imran Khan has received them warmly . As a matter of fact the alliance between BAP and PTI was formed at the time of Senate’s elections. He said that their party has won the majority and after joining PTI we would cross the limit of simple majority in the house.
“Much happened wrong in the past but we are moving towards a positive change . Both the parties would assist each other unconditionally on the agenda of progress and would make joint efforts for the development of the entire country and Baluchistan in particular . We would prove ourselves good allies.”, Jam added
