ISLAMABAD: Interior ministry has accorded approval to issue red warrants for arresting former finance minister Ishaq Dar from outside Pakistan.
The approval has been given on the request of NAB.
Following the approval from interior secretary, FIA has sent case in respect of arrest of Ishaq Dar to Interpol .
Under the directives of interior ministry FIA has written a letter to Interpol requesting it to extend help in arresting Ishaq Dar from UK.
Reference regarding arrest of Ishaq Dar has been sent to Interpol secretary general office in France.
The orders of declaring Ishaq Dar proclaimed offender by accountability court, his perennial arrest warrants and details of assets references have also been enclosed with the letter.
