Karachi: Political ‘centipedes’ are the main hurdle to progress and prosperity of Sindh and poor masses should crush them under their feet on the Election Day, said Pasban e Pakistan President Altaf Shakoor.
In a statement here Wednesday, he said the voters should come out of their homes on the Election Day to defeat these anti-democracy centipedes, as well as, corrupt Waderas and get rid of them forever. He said that the corrupt electables have held hostage the people of Pakistan. He said in past people gave vote to these corrupt mafia and they instead of serving the people stuffed their own pockets with the looted money and increased their bank balances. He said due to their corruption today the government schools and colleges in Sindh have become cattle pens. He said the children of poor masses cannot get basic education while the sons and daughters of the corrupt people are sent to Europe and America to get quality education.
He said the government hospitals in Sindh have become non functional and poor people cannot get even cheap tablets from them. He said the private hospitals are very costly and they are looting the patients with both hands. He said people belonging to the Wadera class go abroad to get them medically treated on government expense.
He said Pasban has created a lot of awareness against these corrupt people and Waderas and now it is the need of the hour to further spread this awareness. He said so far the corruption mafia and Wadera class politicians are thinking them above the law. He said there is dire need of an unbiased accountability in the country.
Pasban President said that the candidates of his party fielded in Karachi, Hyderabad, and Sanghar district are meeting with people at their doorsteps. They have started a massive door to door campaigning to spread their political program.
Altaf Shakoor said the Pasban is a breath of fresh air in the suffocated politics of Pakistan. He said the Pasban has already played a vital role in unity of people on national level. It is promoting a corruption-free politics and it has fielded honest, capable and patriotic candidates so that they could serve the nation and country after reaching assemblies. He said appealed to the masses to stamp on the political symbol of Pasban, Balloons, on the Election Day to send pro-people representatives to parliament.
