ISLAMABAD: A two-day national youth conference on ‘Confronting Violent Extremism on Campuses’ started in Islamabad today. It is being organized by National Counter Terrorism Authority in collaboration with Code Pakistan. Purpose of the conference is to engage students and faculty of premier universities and religious seminaries.
Male and female students from universities from all four provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan attended the conference.
Opening the conference, National Coordinator NACTA Dr. Muhammad Suleman Khan said the Authority is collaborating with Law Enforcement Agencies across the country to counter the forces of extremism and violence.
