Rawalpindi: As many as 300 prisoners have agreed to cast vote among 5000 prisoners from central jail Adyala.
According to media reports, all prisoners were directed to provide their original NIC (National Identity Card) in connection with registration for vote casting but only 300 prisoners provided their ID cards to the administration for polling votes.
A request has been made by Superintendent jail Saeed Ullah to District Election Commission (DEC) to make necessary arrangements besides providing postal ballots.
