Shahkot: (Parliament Times) President Milli Muslim League (MML) Saifullah Khalid vowed to resolve national issues on priority basis.
“Rulers have endangered the future of the country by not making water resources. Today, nation is worried due to these issues. Allah has given Pakistan all the qualities to lead the Islamic world. Sincere leadership can resolve the issues of Pakistan in few years”, the MML chief said this while addressing an Iftar dinner at Shahkot. Earlier, he was warmly welcomed by the party workers who chanted slogans in favour of MML.
Accusing India of capturing water of Pakistan, he said, “There is a water crisis in Balochistan and Sindh. In Punjab, no water is available for crops. India has constructed dams on rivers of Pakistan. It stopped 70% water of Pakistan. Unfortunately, our rulers are still silent. MML will free Pakistan’s waters.” He termed construction of dams as imperative for the survival of Pakistan. “We cannot get cheap electricity without constructing more dams.”
