Islamabad: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar while taking suo motu notice of fake degrees of lawyers has summoned report based on verification of the degrees from all bar councils within one month.
Court has issued the notices to all bar councils after the suo motto notice regarding the fake degrees of the lawyers was taken by CJP on Thursday.
CJP said that ??I have known that the desired cooperation is not being provided by the bars ?
The court remarked that many lawyers have got the license without any degree of law. Some degree holders have become lawyers without license.
The court has ordered to verify the degrees of the lawyers holding license within a month.
The court has directed Higher Education Commission (HEC) to cooperate with bar councils.
