Lahore: Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PPDWP) approved four development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 9830.459.459 million
These schemes were approved in the 62nd meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.
Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting. The approved development schemes included: Strengthening of Program Management Unit (PMU) for Punjab Resource Management Program (PRMP) at the cost of Rs. 996.838 million, Provision of Laptops (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 6637.197 million, Rehabilitation of Hakra Branch RD: 0+000 to 286+920, Bahawalnagar at the cost of Rs. 986.104 million and Construction of Pandori Dam, District Jhelum (2nd Revised) at the cost of Rs. 1210.320 million.
