Rawalpindi: An Anti terrorism Court (ATC) on Wednesday indicted three accused, involved in murder of Former Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr. Imran Farooq.
The Case was heard by an ATC’S Judge Shahrukh Arjamand at Adiala prison in Rawalpindi.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), during the hearing of the case presented the final Challan, after which the ATC indicted accused Muazzam Ali, Khalid Shamim and Mohsin Ali.
However the accused pleaded not guilty.
The ATC summoned ordered the two witnesses of the Prosecution, Captain (R) Shoaib and Abdul Mannan to record their statements before it on May 08. Captain (R) Shoaib had recorded the confessional Statements of the accused.
The Court also issued perpetual warrants of Founder MQM Altaf Hussain and ordered for confiscation of his property. The Founder MQM is one of the accused named in the case.
