Islamabad: The National Assembly Standing Committee on Science and Technology has rejected the Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQAC) amendment bill 2017.
The committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of Tariq Bashir Cheema on Monday. During the meeting MNA Ali Muhammad Khan told that we know how things passed in Pakistan.
On this committee Chairman Tariq Bashir Cheema started that after the 18th amendment Federal has nothing left.
Jam Aslam, the representative ministry of law has state that we have to read 1937 law for understanding the technical issues.
He further stated that some points mentioned in the bill of previous law and these are not appropriate.
On this secretary ministry of law stated that we along check the standard of things made by the company.
Committee also sought report from Ali Muhammad Khan regarding regularization of the employees of PCRWR. “According to our finding you can regularize the employees” he stated.
He appealed ministry of Science and Technology to steer the recommendations of the committee.
