BRUSSELS: Chairman Kashmir Council EU Mr Ali Raza Syed has revealed that the council is dispatching official letters to United Nations, European Union and International Huma Rights Organizations in order to divert their attention on the awful situation in Indian Held Kashmir (IHK).
In a statement on Kashmir Solidarity Day (Friday) observed in
Pakistan and other parts of the world, Mr Ali Raza Syed said, we
strongly condemn the ongoing Indian state terrorism and express
our solidarity with people of the occupied Kashmir.
Kashmir Council EU is also writing a separate letter to High
Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security
Policy  Federica Mogherini in the context. The decision for
sending letters to international bodies about the terrible situation of IHK was taken by the core committee of Kashmir Council EU recently.
Chairman Kashmir Council EU Ali Raza Syed added that the
international community to take serous notice of the severe

situation of Indian Held Kashmir specially large scale human
rights violations committed by the Indian forces in that part of
disputed region.
The Solidarity Day was observed on appeal of Pakistan and Azad
Kashmir and Indian Occupied Kashmiri leadership following the
last week killing of innocent people by the Indian troops in
occupied Kashmir.
Chairman Kashmir Council EU said, the international community
should focus on Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir and take
serious steps for prevention of the brutalities. The international
community should send their missions to the occupied Kashmir in
order to obtain facts about the situation and take necessary steps
for prevention of the brutalities.
He also emphasized on need for peaceful resolution of the lasting
Kashmir dispute according to the wishes of people of Kashmir.
He said that through continuation of slaughtering of innocent
people, India cannot smash the indigenous movement of Kashmir
in Kashmir. The people of Kashmir who expect justice from the
international community specially United Nation, will not stop their peaceful struggle for right to self-determination.
It is important to mention that during last week, Indian forces killed more than 20 people in their new wave of brutal military actions against the peaceful people of Kashmir in IHK. Above 300
defenseless Kashmiris, including young people were injured by
bullets and pellets guns of the Indian forces.
