Islamabad : The Ministry of Commerce has cancelled the appointment process of Chairman IPO, CEO TDAP and NTC members on severe violations of rules and regulations.
The creditable sources have disclosed that the division staff has totally refused to issue notification of above mention positions and declared the appointments a clear violation of merit.
Sources further stated that commerce ministry has canceled the process on the objections of establishment division. Now the ministry has decided to restart the whole process of appointments of high officials.
Sources further stated that commerce ministry hadn’t got NOC from establishments division for these appointments. Interviews were conducted from two member of National Tariff Commission (NTC) on March 29 but no establishment division had declared whole process against the rules and regulations.
It was worth mentioned here that interviews were scheduled for the appointment of Chairman IPO on April 02 which was now declared canceled.
