ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that there is dire need to embed national culture and values in the curriculum.

Addressing a conference on education in Islamabad on Wednesday, she said the national curriculum has been revised and updated and it would be finalized after consultations with provincial governments and other stakeholders.

The Minister of State said themes like climate change, water, civic education and democracy would form part of the new curriculum.
