Islamabad: The numbers of ghost employees of Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) have been removed from posts, it was learnt.
However, the creditable sources have revealed that still a large number of ghost employees are working in Radio Pakistan despite of fact many had expelled from services.
Sources stated that PBC Director General Shafqat Jalil has received information that several ghost employees are still working in department and their presence only limited to record.
On the other hand monitoring process of ghost employees are going on in different stations like Sargodha, Kharpur, Quetta, and Peshawar. The ghost employees those who so far expelled from service including Shahzad Jilal, Aftab Khan, Saeed Ahmed, Muhammad Javid, Zaheer Ahmed, Imran Khursheed, Muhammad Nadeem and others.
Sources further revealed that a mechanism has also been prepared to monitor the current affairs programs and scrutiny of current affairs programs employees would also be done. When “Online” contacted Radio Pakistan General Shafqat Jalil he viewed that department has no such hidden agenda of removing employees from posts. He added that department is reviewing that who is genuine employees of department.
