SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has said that prevailing situation in the territory is extremely trying and testing for the people.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq addressing a gathering in Srinagar said that constantly new threats and challenges emerged for the people of the occupied territory as a consequence of use of force, killing spree, repression and the unending status-quo to undermine their very existence.
“It is the remarkable resilience and determination of the people and their daunting spirit that keeps us going and not give up,” he said.
The Mirwaiz said in such a difficult and testing time our faith in Allah’s help and blessing becomes our ultimate recourse and our faith in that recourse becomes our strength. “In sha Allah, Almighty Allah will never let us down,” he added.
