ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Revenue Haroon Akhtar Khan has assured full support of Government for timely completion of the Thar Coal Power projects.
He was talking to a delegation of companies executing coal-fired power projects in Islamabad on Wednesday.
He pointed out that power generation through coal was almost negligible in Pakistan as compared to nearly seventy percent in India and China. It was time to fully tap the coal resources to meet our future energy requirements.
The Special Assistant was informed that the work on mining and other related activities of the Thar Coal Power projects was going well.
