ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) while issuing show cause notice to minister for privatization Daniyal Aziz in contempt of court case has directed him to file reply on Friday.
A 3-mmeber bench of SC presided over by Justice Azmat Saeed Sheikh took up contempt of court case against Daniyal Aziz for hearing on Monday.
Daniyal Aziz appeared in the court along with his counsel Ali Raza.
The court while issuing show cause notice maintained in the light of statements given by Daniyal Aziz on different TV channels he has prima facie committed contempt of court.
The court while directing Attorney General for playing the role of prosecution has issued notice to him.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till February 23.
