LAHORE: Sardar Masood Khan, President Azad Jammu and Kashmir met Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif today here at the Chief Minister House.

President Masood Khan apprised the Chief Minister about development projects being implemented in Azad Kashmir, particularly those related to road network, power generation, tourism, industry, agriculture, health and education. He said; “All projects will be completed on fast track as Azad Kashmir wants to be part of Pakistan’s mainstream.”

The Chief Minister said that his administration is fully supportive of Azad Kashmir’s development agenda and would gladly share its own expertise in various fields with the Azad Government

Pakistan, he said, has had strong bonds of history, geography, kinship and faith with Kashmir and these bonds could not be broken under any circumstances. The Chief Minister also accepted President AJK’s invitation to visit Azad Kashmir soon.

Sardar Masood Khan briefed the Chief Minister about the horrendous human rights situation in the Indian Occupied Kashmir and the efforts that were being made to make the world aware of the plight of the Kashmiris under Indian occupation. He said it was Kashmiris strong resolve on both sides of the LOC to continue their struggle for the right to self-determination of the Kashmiri people.
