Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah was given a memorable send off by the administration of Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench on his elevation as Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan on Friday. The ceremony was attended by Judges of Lahore High Court, Mr. Justice Abdadur Rehman, Mr. Justice Khalid Mehmood Malik, Mr. Justice Qazi Ameen Ahmed, Mr. Justice Raja Shahid Mehmood Abbassi, Registrar High Court Lahore Khursheed Ahmed Rizvi, Senior Registrar Dr. Abdul Nasir and Registrar Abdul Hafeez, officials of LHC Rawalpindi Bench.

Addressing the ceremony Chief Justice LHC Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah said that he had performed his professional responsibilities with best abilities and spirit to serve the department of judiciary and uphold the high traditions of justice by upgrading the entire judicial system from district judiciary to Provincial level. He expressed his gratitude to all his fellow colleagues and said that it was a team effort that we had succeeded to achieve the targets to improve the judicial system by introducing automation to speed up the trails of cases at all level. He said that each member of judiciary is important for speedy justice and it had been tried to improve the efficiency of employees and other stakeholders by organizing training courses and providing required facilities. He asked employees to work with honesty and devotion and extend their every possible assistance in provision of speedy justice. Earlier, addressing the ceremony, Justice LHC Mr. Justice Abadur Rehman Lodhi highlighted the contributions of CJ LHC for improving the service structure of employees and introducing new methods and procedures to accelerate the process of trails. The Registrar LHC Khurshid Anwar Rizvi who is also going to be retired shared his views with the audience and termed his period of service excellent with Chief Justice LHC. Additional Registrar LHC Rawalpindi Bench Abdul Hafeez Mirza also acknowledged the valuable contributions of Chief Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah for improving the service structures of employees and providing them additional benefits. Syeda Anjum also spoke on the occasion.
