Lahore: Spokesman Al-Muhammadia Students (AMS) Hanzla Ammad has strongly condemned the clash over in Punjab University and said that universities are specific for education. In these institutions, environment should be peaceful and knowledgeable.
In his statement, He demanded to ban activities of student unions or other groups based on ethnic and provisional level, adding that only Philomath and curriculum activities should be allowed. “Due to such events, not only the education process affects, but fears also spread among students. In the universities, such elements are causing of linguistic and provisional prejudice.” He added.
Asking vice chancellor and other authoritative people to take notice of incident, He said that the elements involved in the incident should be punished definitely. Miscreant elements should be arrested and peaceful environment should be provided to students.
He also demanded to form a committee to eradicate such elements. “This issue should be solved at permanent basis.” He asserted.
