Islamabad: (Parliament Times) A new spell of rain will kick off from tomorrow (Tuesday) in twin cities, Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

According to met office, the wave of cold to persist in most parts of the country while rain is expected in upper areas of the country. It said that weather has turned much colder due to recent rains while minus 4 temperature was recorded in Quetta and -1 in Murree.

The weather will remain under grip of cold in Southern areas and in Balochistan. On Tuesday, intermittent rain is expected in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, Qalat Division and upper parts of the country while snowing at Murree and Galyat is also expected.

Met office further predicted that weather will remain cold and dry during the next 24 hours and plain areas of Punjab and Upper Sindh, there would be fog in the morning. On Sunday, coldest areas of the country were Quetta, Qalat and Kalam -8 temperature, Malam Jappa -6, Para Chinar and Gopus-5 and in Astore -4 centigrade temperature was recorded.
