Islamabad: (PR) According to IESCO spokesman, Chief Executive IESCO Mr. BasitZaman Ahmed Chaired monthly Progress review meeting in IESCO Head Office. He said that by providing best services and by building good relationship with customers we can prove IESCO a Customer Friendly Company. We should resolve all customers’ complaint on top priority. He said that seats are blessing of Allah and it’s our prime responsibility to fulfill requirements of seats. He said that it’s our mission to achieve all targets set by NEPRA and to achieve these targets we all have to work hard. He said that honest and hardworking officers are the part of my team and officers having poor performance are not acceptable in IESCO.
All Circles In-charges Superintending Engineers, Divisional In-charges Executive Engineers & Sub Divisional In-charges Sub Divisional Officers briefed IESCO Chief regarding their performance for the month of November-2017 on account of Line Loses, Recovery from running and dead defaulters, Action taken against electricity theft, Mobile meter reading accuracy, Current status of New connection and Net metering connections.
IESCO Chief instructed all field officers to take extreme action against electricity theft and heavy fines may impose on involved customers as they are not well-wishers of this country. IESCO Chief said that results are the indicators of performance and we will not compromise at any cost on performance. He said that delay in new connection is not acceptable and will consider a crime as meters and material required for new connections has been provided to all field offices.
He said that keeping in view the vision of Federal Government and Federal Minister for Power Division, load management schedule must be implemented according to the given schedule. He said that customers respect is also on our top priority and by delivery of timely and error free electricity bills we can manage it.
In the end of the meeting IESCO Chief directed operation Director to issue letter of displeasure to officers having unsatisfactory performance and also set targets for the month of December-2017.
