Islamabad: (Parliament Times) The President of Pakistan people’s Party AJK chapter Chudhary Latif Akbar has said that thousands of PPP activists will attend the 5th December Golden Jubilee Procession in Islamabad.
Akbar made these assertions while talking to journalists here late night on Sunday. Senior vice president PPP-AJK Ch. Pervez Ashraf, Secretary General Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, Vice President Sardar Amjad Yusuf, deputy secretary General Sahibzada Zulfiqar Ali, Deputy secretary information Shaheen Kousar Dar and Syed Azadar Qazmi were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Ch. Latif Akbar said that PPP will reiterate its pledge to continue its years’ long struggle for a peaceful, prosperous and democratically vibrant Pakistan at all fronts. He said that Pakistan Peoples Party during its government in AJK had initiated a number of development projects in the region which included the knitting out a massive education network in the region besides providing health-care incentives to the people.
He said that thousands of workers from all across the liberated territory including Mirpur, Muzaffarabad, Kotli, Bhimber, Rawalakot, Forward Kahuta, Hajeera, Bagh, Neelum and Jehlum valley will gather at Faizabad on 5th of December where from the PPP activists and leaders will march towards the venue under the 1000 feet long party flag.
