GILGIT: The oath taking ceremony of newly appointed Chief Judge Chief Court Gilgit-Baltistan Wazir Shakil Ahmed was held at Governor House in Gilgit on Thursday.
Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Mir Ghazanfar Ali Khan administered oath.
Later, Chief Judge Wazir Shakil Ahmed took oath from Ali Baig, the newly appointed Judge, Chief Court Gilgit Baltistan.
The ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman, Cabinet members, Chief Secretary Dr Kazim Niaz, Judges of Supreme Appellate Court, Chief Court Gilgit-Baltistan and notables of the area.
