Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) District Health Authority Rawalpindi has started preparations of District Health Convention 2017 to be held at district level under the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to apprise general public about the initiatives of health facilities taken by Punjab government.
District Health Officer, Rawalpindi Dr. Abdul Jabbar informed that a detailed plan has been chalked out to organize workshops, seminars, walks, Health Mela and other similar activities to promote the vision of Chief Minister Punjab relating to provision of quality health facilities to the people. He said that instructions had been given to Deputy District Health Officers of districts of Rawalpindi division to complete arrangements of District Health Conventions in their respective areas. He further said that all related departments would be engaged in these activities for promotion of health education. DHO, Dr. Abdul Jabbar further told that district administration, education, social welfare, population welfare departments and other related organizations had been engaged to enthusiastically participate in health awareness related activities.
