Kashmiri lawyers deplore attack on Punjab University professor

Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) Kashmiri Lawyers community settled in twin cities Islamabad and Rawalpindi on Tuesday while denouncing in strong terms the attack on Assistant professor Dr. Asghar Iqbal of Punjab University by the activist of Islami Jamiat-e-Tulba (IJT) has termed the gruesome attack as an act of cowardice.

In a statement issued here on Tuesday, the members of lawyers’ community including Advocate Sardar Anwar Khan, Raja Mazhar Iqbal, Sardar Mushtaq, Sardar Jabar Kashmiri, Imran Rafique, Sardar Aftab and Sardar Zahid said that government should rein in such kind of uncontrolled and unbridled elements who have emerged as a potential threat to state institutions.
