ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said Pakistan is facing major challenge of non state actors.

“ Pakistan is facing mammoth challenge of non state actors. Had we continued to tread on path of democracy Pakistan would have been a united and developed country today, he said this while addressing a ceremony at Police Academy here Friday.

Pakistan has rendered sacrifice of 60000 lives in war on terror, he said adding war will continue till elimination of terrorism from the country.

He went on to say Pakistan had to suffer loss over one billion dollars in war on terror. We have to make Pakistan a hate free country as per principles of Quaid-d-Azam, he added. .

He said modern technology is indispensable to deal with the crimes on scientific basis.

He said armed forces, police and law enforcement agencies played a crucial role in the war against terror. If police is strong then influential will not be able to embarrass the weak, he added.
