Hajira: (Parliament Times) Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (PM AJK) Raja Mohammad Farooq Haider Khan said that armed forces of Pakistan is fighting for our survival, we are grateful to them, they defend the people of Azad Kashmir, especially protecting us on the line of control. Army Chief also committed that protection of people and territory of Azad Kashmir is the first priority of the Pak Army.
Prime Minister made these assertions while addressing a public gathering near Line of Control organized by PML.N party leaders and workers of Poonch division here on Saturday. Ministers of State Chaudhry Mohammad Aziz, Syed Shaukat Shah, Dr. Najeeb Naqi, Sardar Mir Akbar Khan, Member Kashmir Council Akhtar Pervaiz Awan, Senior Advisor Khan Bahadur Khan and others also addressed on the occasion.
Characterizing Indian brutalities in Indian occupied Kashmir, Prime Minister stated that Indian Army reflects the mindset of Narendra Modi in Kashmir which imitates that Muslims are not safe even in India.
Terming the issues faced by people living near LOC, “we are aware of the problems faced by the people based near control line, the government will not leave them alone” said Prime Minister adding that the enemy wants anarchy and chaos in our races, we must unite by creating harmony and integrity.
Focusing on education, Prime Minister said, “The world has now formulated into a global village; without getting modern education, we cannot achieve the desired goals, while reducing staff shortages in schools and colleges, education sector is making progress towards standard education. We are implementing the promises made in general elections.”
While addressing the gathering Prime Minister also said that the map of the state will change, the reconstruction and development work is ongoing and funds are allocated equally in every constituency, adding that he said that further 290 kilometers will be constructed in AJK besides knowing that Azad Kashmir has been already included in CPEC.
Prime Minister reiterated that solutions to Hajira problems is my responsibility, we will upgrade and improve the condition of Tehsil headquarter hospital. He said, “The ideal road will be constructed in Hajira Devi Galli, so that this beautiful area will become tourist interest and tourism will be promoted.”
Admiring the incredible sacrifices of the people of Hajira, Prime Minister said that People of Hajira are known historically. Mentioning Khan Bahadur Khan he said the KB Khan has always tried to solve the problems of the region, “I pray for a long and healthy life of Khan Bahadur Khan Sahib and Allah may bless us with their guidance in our whole tenure; People like Khan Bahadur Khan born once in centuries.” Prime Minister added.
PM AJK urged that we will improve the autonomy of other institutions as well as improve the accountability system so that flaws inside institutions can be removed and the entire system will be able to achieve its obligations and accountability appears.
Prime Minister, on the occasion announced establishment of NADRA office in Hajira and increased the compensation for the martyrs of LOC firing from rupees 3 lacs to 8 lacs. He said that salaries of lady health workers will be paid within two weeks.
