Muzaffarabad: The AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that the wisdom and teachings of spiritual personalities are beacon of guidance for all Muslims.
“The Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad S.A.W.W devoted his life for the propagation of Islam and presented the real concept of the religion. Pious clerics and preachers have always worked for it”, the PM Raja Farooq Haider Khan said on the occasion of Urs of Sahibzada Ismail Chishti here on Sunday.
Sahibzada Saleem Chishti, Ameer ul Hassan Niazi, Sahibzada Sabir Hussain Chishti, Mohsin Chishti and other religious personalities and prominent figures were also present on the Urs celebrations. Prime Minister placed wreath on the shrine of Ismail Chishti and paid honor to him, supplications were also offered for the prosperity and welfare of Pakistan.Prime Minister on the occasion said, “Kashmir is the land of mystical personalities, they taught Islam to the people of the soil; their role cannot be denied for the promotion of social and economic activities in the state.” Referring to the history, He said that Late Shah Humdaan originated the economic development for the state besides preaching of Islam.
Prime Minister exhorted that we have to follow the teachings of our late religious clerics, in present era of inequality, schism, contradiction and divergences, it is certainly required.
