KARACHI: Over fifty percent works of coal based power plants of 1320 Megawatt capacity at Thar Coal Field has been completed.
A spokesman of the Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company told our Karachi correspondent Altaf Pirzado that works on these power plants is underway in full swing.
He said these power plants will be operational by June 2019.
The power projects which are being completed under China-Pakistan Economic corridor will be helpful in meeting the energy needs of the country
