Islamabad: (Parliament Times) The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) has shown great concerns over the rising accidents in Islamabad due to absence of reflectors on speed breakers and concrete blocks put on roads and called upon the Islamabad Traffic Police to immediately arrange reflectors at all such places to avoid such tragic accidents in Islamabad.
Sheikh Amir Waheed, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that the last night two cousins of Muhammad ShakeelMunir, former Senior Vice President of ICCI while travelling on motorbike slammed into a concrete block put on road and have died. This happened because there was no reflector on the block due to which they could not see the road blocker. He said if ICT Traffic Police had arranged reflector on the block, the tragic incident could have been avoided. He stressed that ICT Traffic Police should urgently arrange reflectors at all road blockers and speed breakers to avoid more such tragic incidents.
