Muzaffarabad: Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and the world over will observe 27th October, tomorrow, as Black Day to convey to the world that India has occupied Jammu and Kashmir against their will and is denying them their inalienable right to self-determination.
On 27th October in 1947 Indian troops had invaded Jammu and Kashmir and occupied it in total violation of the Partition Plan of the Subcontinent and against the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan, Prime Minister Raja Mohammad Farooq Haider Khan and Minister for Information Raja Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas in their special messages termed 27 October as a darkest day when Indian Army violated the international laws and occupied major part of Kashmir and deprived Kashmiri from their basic right of Self-determination.
President Sardar Masood Khan in his message said that people of Kashmir liberated this part of Kashmir from Maharaja regime in 1947 and cleared to India that they will not remain calm until and unless the freedom of the people living in its occupation.
President said, “Azad Kashmir is the base camp of Kashmir freedom movement and we will continue to play our role till the freedom of occupied Kashmir; people of Azad Kashmir stand together with the occupied Kashmiri brothers.”
Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that the India’s illegal and forcible occupation of Kashmiris’ motherland is a manifestation expansionism design of India. “India has always been medaling and interfering in the neighbor’s affairs, India entered into Kashmir by breaking all moral and international principles; when India could not convince Kashmiri by threatening them with guns, she introduced new rules in Jammu and Kashmir and has started targeting the people of Kashmir in the name of terrorism.” The Prime Minister added.
Minister Information Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas said in his message that India has deployed massive forces in Kashmir and converted the whole territory into a military garrison. He said, “After invading Kashmir, India took the case to the United Nations and when the highest body passed resolutions on this issue, India backed out of its commitments.”
