Karachi: A facilitator terrorist involved in attack on former home minister Punjab Shuja Khanzada has been killed in a police encounter.
According to media reports, on a tip off, police conducted search operation in North Karachi near Ajmair Nagri. In the meantime exchange of fire took place between police and terrorists. In retaliatory firing by police , one terrorist identified as Saad Sar Khan was killed while two of his accomplices managed to escape from the scene.
Sources said that the killed terrorist worked with banned outfit Punjabi Taliban and Lashkar e Jhangvi and he recently reached Pakistan through illegal ways .
He is said to have provided suicide jacket to terrorist in terror attack on former home minister of Punjab Shuja Khanzada . He was also involved in firing incident in sessions court Haripur and killings of policemen. .
4 hand grenades, 6 pistols, Rifle and 7 MM Rifles have also been recovered from possession of terrorist.
It is vital to mention here that Shuja Khanzada was martyred in suicide attack in his village at Attock on August 16, 2015.
